Click the Create Request link to open the Create Request page.
Use the controls on the page to enter work request information:
User Name (Required) – The User Name and Email are used to view the Work Request's status.
Requester – Enter the name of the person or company requesting the maintenance.
Email (Required) – Enter your email address in this field. The Email is used to send email updates to specific requesters. If the option is selected in Maintenance Management, an email is sent to the Requester when their work request's work order is completed. The Email is also used to view the status of a work request.
Phone – Enter a contact phone number for the person or company requesting the maintenance.
Property (Required) – Select the main location of the asset using the field pick list.
Building - Buildings are the primary location components of a Property, used to further define the location of a property’s assets. Buildings, in MicroMain Maintenance Management, are associated with a specific property.
Asset (Required) – Select the asset that needs to be maintained using the field pick list.
Location – Enter a detailed location of the asset in this field (e.g., physical address).
Service (Required) – Enter a short description of the maintenance or problem. NOTE: This field is only visible to the user if it is enabled in the Control Center program.
Description – Enter a more detailed description of the maintenance or problem.
Click the Create Request button to submit the request to Maintenance Management.
NOTE: If the feature is enabled, clicking the Create Request link also sends an email notification to a predefined email address. Your Requester Email is used as the return address.
NOTE: If the feature is enabled, clicking the Create Request link copies all entered work request information to the Comments field of the new work order.
Web Request confirms that the work request was submitted. A new work order is created in Maintenance Management with the following characteristics:
The work order Type is "Demand."
For user-defined Services, the work order Priority is "2."
